Collection: Carbide Saw Chain

Tungsten Carbide Chainsaw Chain is designed for dirty, abrasive and contaminated cutting conditions where standard steel chain loses its edge rapidly.

Carbide chain can significantly reduce sharpening frequency in applications such as storm cleanup, demolition timber, burnt wood, roots, dirty firewood and stump cutting.

Unlike conventional steel chain, tungsten carbide cutters maintain their edge longer in abrasive timber conditions. However, carbide chain is not always the best option for clean timber, where standard steel chain will normally cut faster and sharpen easier.

At Whites Forestry Equipment we stock both aggressive Maya Pro-Tipped carbide chain for dirty and contaminated cutting, and Maya Endurance carbide chain for reduced-kickback operation and dense Australian hardwood applications.

Important: Carbide chain must be kept sharp at all times. Running carbide chain blunt creates excess heat and cutting load which may damage carbide cutters or brazed joints.
