Maya 3/8LP" Carbide Chainsaw Chain – Pro-Tipped & Endurance
Maya 3/8LP carbide chains are available in Pro-Tipped and Endurance configurations in both .043" (1.1 mm) and .050" (1.3 mm) gauges.
Both styles use steel chain fitted with brazed tungsten carbide cutters for extended edge life and improved wear resistance in abrasive or contaminated cutting conditions.

Pro-Tipped Carbide
Fast-cutting narrow-kerf chain using brazed carbide tips for abrasive or contaminated cutting conditions.
Best suited to softwood, medium-density hardwoods, palms, storm debris and general dirty cutting applications. Particularly well suited to lower-powered and battery-operated saws using 3/8LP chain.
Important: Pro-Tipped carbide is not recommended for extremely dense Australian hardwoods such as Ironbark, Grey Box, Red Gum or Turpentine.
Endurance Carbide
Heavy-duty reduced-kickback carbide chain designed for hardwoods and high-load cutting conditions.
Features reinforced carbide construction for improved durability in abrasive timber, roots, dirty logs and mixed species environments.
General Guidance
- Maintain correct chain tension and adequate bar lubrication
- Sharpen frequently using diamond-coated files or discs
- Inspect chain regularly in abrasive conditions
- Do not operate carbide chain blunt
Running carbide chain blunt increases heat and load on the brazed joint, increasing the risk of tip damage or failure.
Safety
Carbide chains are intended for experienced operators only. Always use correct diamond sharpening equipment and follow chainsaw safety procedures.
