Maya Pro-Tipped 3/8LP Tungsten Carbide Chainsaw Chain

Carbide-tipped semi-chisel chain for dirty timber, palms, storm debris and general cutting where ordinary steel chain loses its edge quickly. Maya Pro-Tipped uses a narrower cutting profile to help reduce cutting load, making it a practical option for smaller and battery-powered chainsaws fitted with 3/8LP chain.

Best suited to

• Softwoods and medium-density hardwoods
• Palms, dirty firewood and storm debris
• Smaller or battery-operated saws using 3/8LP chain

For extremely dense Australian hardwoods such as Ironbark, Grey Box, Red Gum and Turpentine, consider Maya Endurance 3/8LP instead.

Choose the correct chain

Select your gauge and drive-link (DL) count from the options. Bar length alone does not determine the correct chain. Match all three specifications – 3/8LP pitch, gauge and drive-link count – to your existing chain or guide bar.

Use and sharpening

• Maintain correct chain tension and adequate bar-and-chain lubrication.
• Sharpen with diamond tools at the first sign of reduced cutting performance; do not run carbide chain blunt.
• Avoid striking stones, embedded metal or other hard foreign objects. Carbide cutters can chip or break on impact.
• This model is not specified as a certified low-kickback chain. Follow the saw manufacturer's operating and safety instructions.
