Best Use

• Fire-damaged timber
• Storm debris and dirty logs
• Palms and rotten stumps
• Softwood and medium-density hardwoods

Not Recommended For

• Dense Australian hardwoods such as Ironbark, Red Gum, Grey Box and Turpentine
• High-load cutting with large saws
• Clean timber where a standard steel chain will cut faster

Sharpening & Maintenance

• Sharpen with diamond file or diamond grinding disc only
• Maintain raker height at .025" / 0.65 mm
• Sharpen at the first sign of reduced cutting performance
• Do not force the chain through the cut

Running a carbide chain blunt increases heat and load on the brazed joint. This can lead to tip failure or detachment.
