The Italian-designed Tecomec SJ PRO EVO is a professional hydraulic-assist chainsaw chain grinder designed for intensive and continuous workshop sharpening. It combines automatic chain clamping with precise sharpening adjustment for fast, consistent and repeatable results.

As the grinding head is lowered, the hydraulic system automatically clamps the chain securely in the vice. Raising the head releases the chain ready for the next cutter, reducing repetitive manual clamping and improving efficiency when sharpening multiple chains.

The SJ PRO EVO is designed for chainsaw dealers, repair workshops, forestry contractors and professional users who regularly sharpen saw chain. It accommodates common chainsaw chain pitches from 1/4" through to .404", as well as 3/4" harvester chain.

Automatic Hydraulic Chain Clamping

The Super Jolly SJ PRO EVO automatically locks the saw chain in position as the grinding head is lowered. When the head is raised, the vice releases the chain so it can be advanced to the next cutter.

This system reduces repetitive vice operation and is particularly useful for workshops sharpening multiple chains, while the self-centring extended vice helps maintain consistent cutter positioning throughout the chain.

Adjustable Sharpening Geometry

The SJ PRO EVO provides adjustment for vice angle, top-plate angle and tilt angle, allowing the grinder to be accurately set for different chain types and cutter specifications. The machine can also be set up for depth-gauge grinding.
