Important Chain Length Notes (Installation & Tension Range)

• 20" (SN20-63VQ):
  • Takes 65DL chain for installation only when the clutch c-clip and rim sprocket are removed to loop the chain; refit before operation.
  • 66DL will tension at approximately ~85% of adjuster travel (close to maximum).
• 25" (SN25-63VQ):
  • Takes 76DL chain for installation only when the clutch c-clip and rim sprocket are removed to loop the chain; refit before operation.
  • 77DL will tension at approximately ~85% of adjuster travel (close to maximum).

Pro Tips

• For best results, confirm your rim size (7T vs 8T). An 8T rim typically adds 1–2 drive links.
