Archer Pro-Max chain saw guide bars are crafted in China from heat treated and tempered steel. Pro-Max are an entry level guide bar, economically priced and best suited for light home use applications. Pro-Max guide bars may experience premature rail wear if used in commercial applications. These maybe cheap bars but like most Archer gear are value for money. Iâve had a number of these in various lengths & never let me down. Steel isnât as hard as your brand name bars but you get what you pay for & I figure I can buy 3 or 4 of these for every 1 brand name bar
