Maya ST .325" Low‑Kickback Carbide Chainsaw Chain (.050" .058" .063")
One product — three gauges. Choose your Gauge and Drive Links above and we’ll supply a precision‑cut carbide chain loop to suit your bar and sprocket. Designed for demanding, abrasive conditions where long cutting life matters.
Why choose Maya ST Low‑Kickback Carbide
- Tungsten carbide-tipped cutters brazed to a high‑strength steel chassis for extended sharpness and high wear resistance in dirty or fibrous timber.
- Low‑kickback design for controlled cutting in general purpose use (ramped depth‑gauges / tie‑strap geometry).
- Semi‑chisel profile for durable edges and forgiving performance across mixed species.
- Variants: .050", .058" and .063" gauges across popular drive‑link counts.
How to pick the right loop
- Confirm pitch: Your bar & drive sprocket must be .325".
- Match the gauge: Your bar groove must match .050", .058", or .063". (Many STIHL bars use .063"; many Husqvarna/Echo bars use .058" or .050". Always check the bar stamp.)
- Count the drive links (DL): Either count the links or read the DL figure stamped on your bar. Use the quick guide below as a sense‑check.
Common bar length ↔ drive‑link guide (DL approx.)
- 13–14" ≈ 56 DL
- 15" ≈ 62–64 DL
- 16" ≈ 66–67 DL
- 18" ≈ 68 / 72 / 74 / 76 / 78 DL (varies by bar)
- 20" ≈ 80 / 81 / 82 DL
- 22" ≈ 86 DL
Tip: Drive links (DL) are triangular shaped links that sit in bar groove. DL counts vary by bar model and brand. The only correct number is the DL count stamped on your bar or confirmed by counting.
Sharpening & care
- Sharpen with a diamond file (4.8 mm / 3/16") or a grinder fitted with a diamond disc after every 2-3 tanks of fuel.
- Use light pressure and avoid overheating the carbide welds. Keep depth‑gauges consistent at .025" 0.65mm
- For best results, avoid striking metal or stone, and rinse off heavy mud or sand before cutting.

- Quality Product

The quality is excellent of both the Tungsten Carbide chain and the Diamond embedded files. The Low Profile/Kickback chain does not cut as fast as standard chisel chain, it lasts longer for hard dry or dirty salvaged wood, so a good compromise. Thanks for the good advice and fast freight. J.H.
