Tungsten Carbide saw chain is suited for dirty cutting conditions that quickly blunt conventional steel chains. Carbide saw chain holds an edge up to 5-6 times longer than a steel saw chain but generally cuts 10-15% slower than a steel chain in clean cutting conditions. Carbide is sharpened with files or discs coated with industrial diamond.

Maya ST Tungsten Carbide is a low-kickback durable saw chain. It stays sharp 5-6 times longer than standard chains. Its longitudinal braze welded cutters provide improved strength over tipped chains. Maya OR Tungsten Carbide Tipped cutter is an economically priced carbide tipped chain available in full or semi chisel.
